GIJON
Gijon occupies a privileged geographic position on the Asturian map, a few minutes from Oviedo and Aviles.
The centre of Gijon has the shape of an amphitheatre, marked by the immense beach of San Lorenzo, the main beach in the town area.

OVIEDO
Oviedo is the capital of Asturias, a historic university city, which attracts students from all over the world. Oviedo is also host to the annual Prince of Asturias Awards, which celebrates outstanding achievements in the Sciences, Humanities and Public Affairs. The awards are amongst the most prestigious in the world, a sculpture by Joan Miró is presented to each year’s winners.

RIBADASELLA
Split in two by the Río Sella’s estuary, Ribadesella is a low- key fishing town and lively beach resort. Its two halves are joined by the long, low Sella bridge. The western part has an expansive golden beach, Playa de Santa Marina, while the older part of town and fishing harbour are on the eastern side. Between Ribadesella and Llanes, 28km east along the coast, more than 20 sandy beaches and pretty coves await discovery.
