GIRONA
The so-called “City of the Four Rivers”, shows us a historic centre dominated by medieval buildings and reminders of Romans, Arabs and Jews. Inside the walled enclosure of “La Força Vella” you can find the culminating works of its historical destiny. The town’s excellent position between the Pyrenean chain and the Costa Brava makes a multitude of trips possible.

BEGUR
In the southern coast of Baix Empordà we find the town of Begur. In this sector of Costa Brava, mountains dive into the Mediterranean sea, forming small coves and sandy beaches among rocky clifs. Pine forests go all the way to the shore, surrounding the town of Begur, which is only a few kilometres away from the sea. The historic quarter, a very traditional, colourful place, is dominated by the ruins of an austere castle built on rocks, which dates from the 15th century.

CALELLA
Calella is a modern resort with lots of amenities, facilities and three kilometres of sandy beaches.
Calella is an ideal destination for families and those looking for a resort with everything on your doorstep. A huge selection of bars, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife is on ofer. The old Calella town is worth a visit, to find out about the history of the area and a stroll around the narrow, cobbled streets, taking in the ancient buildings. Here you can also find some more traditional tapas bars and restaurants.

ROSES
Roses is an essentially Mediterranean town with a notable tourist and seafaring tradition.
For walkers or mountain bikers there is the Aiguamolls nature reserve, a wonderful natural parkland and animal sanctuary stretching up from the coast to the Pyrenees Mountains.
The fantastic Water Fun Park of Aqua Brava in Roses is great for families, plus you can try your hand at skydiving, boating, sailing and karting are available.

ARENYS DE MAR
Arenys de Mar is a traditional fishing town situated on the Costa Brava, just a few kilometres from the city of Barcelona. The town has a long history and seafaring tradition and is blessed with beautiful beaches and a deep artistic heritage. There are plenty of restaurants in town from traditional
Spanish and Catalonian establishments, seafood restaurants, to pizzerias and Mexican cuisine.

CALELLA DE PALAFRUGELL
Calella de Palafrugell is an attractive resort, well known for its various rocky coves, sandy beaches and excellent fish restaurants. The area is becoming better known thanks to the annual International Jazz Festival held in the extensive gardens of Cap Roig, just to the south.
Holidays here are relaxed, lunches are long and the evenings are late.

PLATJA D’ARO
Platja d’Aro is a modern, cosmopolitan town, neighbouring the elegant town of S’Agaró, in south east Girona. This fabulous beachside town, also boasts a wonderful and historical town centre, which has preserved well its medieval charm. The main town has many boutiques and makes a great shopping location. The main beach is a long stretch of beautiful sand and there are many further sandy coves and rocky areas to explore.
