Departure: 9am. Our Full-Day Tour will start in the charming village of Sintra, considered a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Pena Palace will be our first stop. Built in the XIX century on a rock at 500m altitude, this palace is a magnificent example of Portuguese Romanesque architecture. Then we will go down to the historic centre, having free time to appreciate the medieval streets of Sintra, to enjoy the landscapes of Sintra mountain and to taste the delicious local sweets. Time for lunch (optional).

In the early afternoon, we will go to the most westerly point of continental Europe, Roca Cape. We will proceed with our journey to the bay of Cascais, our last stop. This place was the former summer residence of Portuguese royal family, where there is a particularly magnificent view over its stunning beaches. And before making the return to Lisbon, we will end our tour with a panoramic view over Estoril, famous for its casino and stunning gardens around it.

Our Tour proceeds to Batalha, where we will visit the church of the Batalha Monastery, a gothic masterpiece of the XIV century, classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Finally, we will reach the famous Fatima Sanctuary, an altar of the Christian faith and place of world pilgrimage. Here we will visit this Shrine. We will also visit the houses of the Three Shepherd children that reported the apparitions of the Virgin Mary, in 1917. Return to Lisbon.

We will leave Lisbon towards Evora, a charming town surrounded by walls and classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. It is an open-air museum, influenced by Celts and Romans. And the whitewashed houses, arches and twisting alleyways reflect the Moorish presence.

Through this unforgettable trip, we will stroll through the medieval streets of Evora, with many wonderfully preserved monuments and buildings. The Roman Temple will be our first stop. Dedicated to Diana, the goddess of hunting, this famous landmark dates from the 2nd century and it’s one of the Iberian Peninsula’s best-preserved Roman monuments. We will also visit the Cathedral, the Saint Francis Church and its exuberant Chapel of Bones (where is established the famous and bizarre phrase “we, bones that are here, for your bones we wait”), and the University with its cloister and tiles. Our tour will end with a visit to one of the most famous Portuguese Wineries with a fantastic wine tasting. Return to Lisbon.

Lisbon To Porto Tour

Porto Railway Station

We will travel by train from Lisbon to the charming city of Porto, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Our driver will transfer you to Lisbon-Oriente Railway Station. Then you will enjoy a very comfortable trip on the “Alfa Pendular Train” – the fastest train in Portugal – (Tourist Class) and we will arrive at Porto-Campanhã Railway Station. Our driver will be waiting for you and will make the transfer to the city centre.

Free time for lunch. Then at 2 pm (near São Bento Railway Station) we will start a majestic tour through the city of Porto. Here we will visit emblematic sites like the famous Railway Station and its tiles, the Cathedral, the Lello Bookshop, the Ribeira Square and much more. And this journey will end with a sweet Port Wine tasting, in a famous Port Wine Cellar.

The return to Campanhã Railway Station is scheduled at 6 p.m. (train departs at 6.47 p.m.). Arrival to Lisbon.
