Lake Como

You can treat yourself by visiting the wonderful spa and wellness centre with a sauna, multi-sensory showers, hydromassage, a Turkish bath and a comfort zone.
  • ‘An Art Nouveau building that dates back to 1907.’ Location: On Bellagio’s lakeside, close to the ferry harbour. Highlights: The epitome of romance – this former 19th century palace set on the lakeside is inviting from the moment you step through the door. In the evening you can enjoy listening to different lounge singers and enjoy the hotel’s restaurant which boasts a wonderful selection of dishes that showcase traditional Italian delicacies. There is also a wide selection of Italian wines with particular attention to the region of Lombardy. Guests will be delighted by the little touches that make their stays extra special. Highlights: This hotel has been recently restored and combined with its ideal location in the heart of Bellagio, it makes it a perfect place to stay. It has a stunning lakeside veranda, right on the shore of Lake Como - a rare treat, and the views are simply outstanding with rolling hills, vegetation, mountains and sky. The award-winning patio restaurant looks out on the lake, and offers both localcomo and italian dishes including fish, steak and pasta. The rooftop sun terrace makes a wonderful spot to relax with sunbeds and parasols. The hotel’s own ice cream parlour is a real highlight. The intimate and personal touch can be experienced throughout the hotel which is just a short distance from the shops.
  • ‘A historic lakeside property visitedby royalty.’ Location: Situated by the lake in Varenna, one minute walk from a small pebble beach. Highlights: Once a 19th century textiles spinnery, Mrs Giuseppina Pezzini transformed it into ‘Hotel Royal’ and then in 1838 the name was changed to ‘Hotel Royal Victoria’ after the Queen of England visited. The restorations at the hotel have given it modern comforts while still reflecting its 19th century charm with high ceilings and a beautiful chandelier in the lobby. There are two restaurant options – firstly the Restaurant Pizzeria Victoria Grill in front of St George’s church and Restaurant Gourmet which has a stunning veranda overlooking Bellagio.
